Battenberg Room

The Battenberg Room provides a perfect romantic get-a-way. The private bath is most inviting, with an arched stained glass window over the two-person whirlpool tub. It is furnished with a queen bed, antique dresser, arm chair and table. For your added convenience there is a coffee maker, microwave and small refrigerator.

The Gatsby Suite

Reminisant of the 1920's, the Gatsby Suite has beautiful oak floors and is decorated in taupe, rust & black. The sitting room and bedroom are separated by French Doors, with the sitting room overlooking brick-paved Second Street and the bedroom looking toward Lake Erie and the Portage River entrance. In addition to the queen bedroom, the sitting room provides sleeping space for an additional person. A comfortable chair, mini refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave are also provided for your convenience. The suite's private bath has a whirlpool tub with shower and pedastal sink. The tub is tiled in black and white with feature tiles hand-painted by a local artist.

The Oasis: A Studio Apartment

The Oasis studio apartment is inspired by nature and provides the perfect setting for those traveling with a friend or child. In addition to the queen bed a day-bed provides sleeping space. Longer stays are enhanced by the private bath and full kitchen. The apartment is decorated in earth tones and comfortably furnished. The room is accessed from the main hall or from a private second story deck. The deck looks out toward Lake Erie and is surrounded by huge old trees providing a perfect spot for birdwatching and relaxing.

The Seafarer - A First Floor Room

The Seafarer is located on the first floor, just off the kitchen and only five steps up from a private patio. This comfortable room for two has a queen bed and private bath. The Seafarer is decorated with nautical memorabilia and prints, and has all the amenities that make a seafarer comfortable on land, including A/C, T/V and coffee maker. If your knees are wobbly on land after years at sea, you will appreciate the extra supports added to the adjoining bathroom as well as the higher toilet and walk-in shower. We regret that we are unable to provide a totally handicapped accessible suite, but hope that these improvements will be of assistance to some of our guests.
